GuestDirect is a private, in-hotel communications system that combines networked, in-room multi-function printers with a Windows-based server running InnTechnology's proprietary application software. The system takes advantage of the network capabilities of the hotel's existing high speed Internet access (HSIA) system to route messages to each guestroom's networked multi-function machine (color printer/fax/copier). The integration of GuestDirect with the property management system allows the hotel to track guests by group code, to compile folios for in-room printing and numerous other activities.

  • For properties with in-house entertainment, staff can print bar-coded tickets directly to the room.
  • Hotels can send special offers to fill restaurants and to attract guests to the spa and other hotel amenities. Special offers can be directed to guests based on their scheduled checkout date, encouraging them to extend their stays over an expected low-occupancy weekend, and bounce-back coupons can be offered to build occupancy for slower seasons.
  • Convention exhibitors can use GuestDirect to deliver tailored messages to select guests and groups, rather than hand-deliver messages to each room. Sending and printing the messages in the room also eliminates the cost of pre-printing the materials.

Personal telephone number for hotel guests assigned at check in. Allows guests to receive calls directly in their rooms. Callers do not have to wait for a hotel operator to answer and transfer them to the guest's room. Reduces cost of operator staff, reduces errors in call handling. Fully integrates with the hotel's voicemail system. Optional: Guests can be provided with their private voice and/or fax numbers by a personalized Welcome Message being sent directly to the guestroom, and/or through personalized business cards being printed for them

FolioFAST allows guests to receive hard copies of their folios upon check out when using Express Check Out or Video Check Out. Using InnTechnology's FolioFAST system, the guest may check out using the hotel's video check out system and select "Print a copy of my final bill in my room" on the TV.  Upon receiving a message from the hotel's Property Management system, the InnTechnology server then retrieves a copy of the guest's folio from the Property Management System and prints it across the network into the requesting guestroom.  Where this feature is not supported by the in-room video provider and/or the hotel's Property Management System, then the guest may dial a special hotel extension and connect to the InnTechnology Server.  Upon the guest's response to a voice prompt, the Server then automatically will retrieve a copy of the guest's folio and print it in the guestroom.
